Overall the cottage offers beautiful lake front property however once we entered the cottage we encountered safety issues including noticeable natural gas smell, a back porch lock that did not lock the door and a noticeable lean to the floors due to foundation issues. These safety issues put a damper on our stay and caused unnecessary precautions including keeping windows open at all times and taking our valuables with us each time we left for the day. Additionally, I was asked to sign a liability waiver after the deadline to cancel the reservation and receive a full refund.
Was a enjoyable stay. Overall we had fun. Only down sides we experienced was the amount of geese poop and the oven did not get up too temp.
Tabatha was a great host and the location was very scenic. Smooth check in and checkout process as well.
